Future Directions in International Business Research: The MNE, Subsidiary and Host Country Agendas
Julian Birkinshaw
Chapter 14 in The Multinational Subsidiary, 2003, pp 301-312 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The purpose of this chapter is to consider some of the future directions for research in international business, and in particular in the areas of foreign subsidiary management and economic development. These are both important themes in Neil Hood’s work and in my own research. Moreover, they both continue to be important and relatively fertile grounds for new empirical and theoretical studies
