Chapter XXIII in The New Operational Culture, 2009, pp 235-256 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract All culture is subject to a combination of rules and values. In an attempt to summarise the rules of the New Operational Culture, as the final chapter of this book, we’ve prepared a list of the twenty basic rules that it must comply with. We are aware that this is necessarily done in broad strokes, but in this way we try to avoid the element of preaching that has so often tainted some of the more classical approaches. We ask the reader not to focus too closely on the aphorisms and follow them to the letter, but rather to meditate on the message. To help in this we provide an introductory commentary for each one.
