Abstract:
Abstract The main objective of this study was to investigate whether an organizational culture can be regarded as a source of competitive advantage and, therefore, should be used as an important strategic resource of a multinational company. The philosophical approach applied for this research is rooted in positivism. In the classical sense, positivism refers to a philosophy that scientific inquiry should satisfy criteria of determinism, empiricism, operationalism, and parsimony (Comte, 1895; Popper, 1959). This research followed exactly all the criteria proposed by positivism and managed to create the methodical framework and parsimonious research measurement instrument, which allows researchers to examine the concepts of the research model empirically in a systematic way.
