Chapter 4 in Organizational Culture and Commitment, 2013, pp 70-75 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract A research design is the strategy for answering the questions or testing the hypotheses that stimulated the research (Mason and Mitroff, 1973; Zikmund, 1997; Campbell and Fiske, 1959). Another critical issue in research design is determining the unit(s) of analysis or the unit about which statements are being made. The unit of analysis for this research is an organization. A final issue is choosing the appropriate sampling strategy, data collection, and data analysis techniques in order to be able to provide the answers to the research questions.
