Chapter Chapter 4 in Inventive Negotiation, 2014, pp 43-56 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract In a highly classified document released just this year, the world finally learned about a secret meeting to build the alliance between Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin, a meeting held in Moscow during World War II. According to Richard Norton-Taylor’s story in The Guardian, Sir Alexander Cadogan,1 a top official from the foreign office, described the meeting in a letter: “Nothing can be imagined more awful than a Kremlin banquet, but it has to be endured.”
