Chapter 4 in Innovating in a Service-Driven Economy, 2015, pp 41-70 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract Here we interview Erik Kiaer, Jon H. Pittman, and Jose Avalos. Each of the three persons is presented in a separate section. Here we learn how each defines innovation and value, what they currently are working on, who has been most influential in their thinking about innovation, and what their strongest contribution to the field of practice of innovation is. We also get responses to which failure is considered the most serious in innovation. The most important insight we are looking for is what is most important for innovation to succeed.
