Abstract:
Abstract Unemployment in the Greek economy has three basic sources: (a) structural unemployment resulting from changes in the international division of labor, (b) unemployment arising from reduced economic activity (demand) due to the economic recession and associated fiscal adjustment programs, and (c) unemployment resulting from structural interventions related to the fiscal and competitive adjustment program.
