Abstract: Abstract Study-abroad programmes are an important component in the array of experiential learning practices provided to college students. In the United States, over 90% of all colleges and universities offered study-abroad (Hoffa & DePaul, 2010) opportunities. Researchers and academic programme leaders have found interesting evidence that demonstrates the benefits of such programmes of study (Hallows et al., 2011). Most of the previous findings support the idea that in order to prepare today’s business students for the real world after graduation, and to meet the needs of the modern global society, exposure to an international context is a necessity.
