Abstract If we measure advertising’s evolution with brand campaigns, there are several that warrant mention as epochal milestones that marked the forward movement of an industry. They helped accelerate the pace of change as they took the new realities of consumer behavior and built them into brand ideas. They put the ad business on notice. And they expanded the job description of the copywriter.
