A chapter in The International Allocation of Economic Activity, 1977, pp 551-556 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Max Corden and Ronald Findlay had accepted the task of reflecting on, if not summarising, the papers and discussions of the symposium. Their concluding remarks, which started as an inquest performed on standard trade theory, related the contributions and observations previously made by the participants to that discipline, the aim being to identify serious inadequacies and to trace important paths of further theoretical development. This session was chaired by Robert M. Solow.
