Chapter 11 in The Capable Executive, 1996, pp 315-336 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Senior managers are struggling to adapt themselves and their organisations to the 21st century business world that is rapidly approaching. Some argue we are not so much entering a new century – but a new era. It is one which will be characterised by the spread of market economies, the acceleration of technological progress and the freer flow of information, funds and skills throughout the world economy.
