Abstract:
Abstract Yukl and Falbe (1990) argue that one of the most important determinants of managerial effectiveness is success in influencing subordinates, peers and higher level managers. At a senior level this is particularly important – indeed we believe the ability to influence people, situations and events is a fundamental prerequisite for those operating in the executive role.
