Chapter 10 in Communicating Out of a Crisis, 1998, pp 125-131 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract Several factors need to be taken into account if the successful resolution of a crisis is to be achieved. We know from experience how quickly an independent act or series of acts can overcome companies, governments, institutions and multinationals. Unless managed responsibly, effectively, precisely — and with due regard to consumers, shareholders, trustees, the media, environmental and ethnic groups and cultural differences — the negative impact can be devastating.
