Abstract: Abstract Crisis is one of the most challenging and fascinating communication disciplines. Information is scarce and there is often insufficient time for proper research and assessment — experience helps but new ground is still being broken. There is usually no black or white, right or wrong choice. One course of action will open one load of problems and another course will open another — and the normally cohesive management team is pulling all over the place as each member tries to protect his/her widely different interests.
