Chapter 10 in Managing Sensitive Projects, 1998, pp 119-128 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract The second most important aspect in the definition of a lateral project is the choice of the pace at which the change is to be made: its link with time. The resisting forces the authors have encountered in sensitive projects are extraordinary for many reasons. If people are ready to accept a certain change in their lives or if they have a certain amount of flexibility, this flexibility has limits which are quickly reached.
