Complexity, Innovation and Organisation

Chris Harris

Chapter Chapter 10 in Hyperinnovation, 2002, pp 158-168 from Palgrave Macmillan

Abstract: Abstract For most, the ‘gap’ between a seed idea and a full-blown market is more likely to resemble a canyon. Converting nebulous concepts into commercial successes sometimes takes on the appearance of the unmanageable, and some say it is best left that way. For innovation is just about the most slippery, unpredictable, chaotic process I know. For the new is not familiar, it is strange, it is about going beyond convention, current experience and best knowledge.
