Abstract:
Abstract Years of research on the personality characteristics of successful chief executives are beginning to yield consistent results and a few surprises. Three findings are neither new nor surprising. CEOs have to be reasonably bright, emotionally stable and hard working. They must be bright enough to understand the business, tumble the numbers, learn new things.
