Chapter 8 in Japan’s Financial Slump, 2011, pp 195-202 from Palgrave Macmillan
Abstract:
Abstract This book has analysed the relationship between the institutional changes in the Japanese financial system and its prolonged financial slump from the 1990s to mainly the first five years of the new century. It has done this primarily from the perspective of the institutional requirements of a financial system to perform its monitoring functions.
