Abstract:
This research explores and assessed the observed and potential impacts, positive or negative, of the calamity and subsequent reconstruction on different aspects of the national economy: production, capital formation/investment (domestic and foreign), and employment in major sectors; public expenditure and revenue; and balance of payments, among others.
