Abstract:
This chapter explores the nature of conflict have emerged during the ongoing post-earthquake reconstruction process and the role of dispute resolution mechanism. It also explores the role of alternative dispute resolution mechanism such as mediation and dialogue to address local grievances during the recovery and reconstruction in the aftermath of disasters.
