Chapter Chapter 7 in Transportation Systems for Tourism, 2023, pp 121-136 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Travel has been a euphoric recreational activity of people for centuries. When it takes place with the freedom of movement, its experience is greatly enhanced. Some people prefer to enjoy the experience of movement by driving a vehicle to visit places and this preference has led to the rise of Drive Tourism, often used interchangeably with the term self-drive tourism.
