Chapter Chapter 3 in Regional Competitiveness Towards Climate Change, 2024, pp 49-100 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter aims to assess the competitiveness of EU regions under climate change. Firstly, it presents the methodological basis for building the Regional Climate Change Competitiveness Index (RCCCI) and the results for selected EU regions from Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland, Finland, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Hungary. Next the results for five climatic zones (north, north-central, south-central, northwest and Mediterranean) are described. Finally, the chapter details the results of the robustness analysis of the regional climate change competitiveness index.
