Abstract: Abstract There have been relatively few attempts to develop operational models explicitly designed to measure endogenous regional economic performance and to identify those factors that potentially might explain spatial variations in that performance across a national space economy. This chapter does that by experimenting with structural equation modelling as an alternative to the commonly used ordinary least square (OLS) regression modelling.
