Effect on the National Economy

Gio Wiederhold

Chapter Chapter 9 in Valuing Intellectual Capital, 2014, pp 231-262 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Now it is time to look at multinational corporations at a level that transcends specific companies. The tax avoidance methods used by a single company, MNC, can be fully understood and modeled. Extrapolating the effects to the 80 % of US companies listed on the NYSE that have offshore operations will not give precise results, but the principles are similar.
