Abstract:
Abstract This first part of the book comprises three chapters ( 2 – 4 ) that provide a basic theoretical discussion of the relationship between casino gambling and economic growth. The remaining chapters review the empirical literature and provide empirical analyses of various casino impacts. As a group, these chapters provide a fairly comprehensive examination of the potential economic benefits of casinos.
