Abstract In this chapter, we explain market- and product-oriented demand planning organization. We define organizational models, roles and responsibilities, the business impact of demand planner, demand planning excellence and demand manager. Successively, we provide tips and hints on how to size and build effective demand planning teams and where to fit them in the organization.
