Abstract: Abstract This chapter contains a series of vignettes based on Wayne’s experience of leadership development and diversity work globally. Examples include launching a 360-degree feedback process globally with great results—apart from in Asia, where participation was low and scores lacked differentiation. How do you encourage upward feedback in cultures where ‘losing face’ is to be avoided? Wayne also discusses the challenges of positive action work, the incorporate of gender issues in leadership development, and ways in which organisations can help LGBTQ+ employee to be themselves at work.
