A chapter in Knowledge Risk Management, 2020, pp 3-10 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The aim of this chapter is to set the frame for the book’s topic, namely knowledge risk management. In order to do so, the chapter starts broadly and introduces the topics of risks and risk management and knowledge risks and knowledge risk management, respectively. This is followed by a brief summary of the current body of knowledge with regard to knowledge risk management from a research point of view. The outcome shows that there is a clear need for more systematic research; thus, this chapter opens the door for the subsequent chapters presented in this book and intended to further our understanding of knowledge risk management.
