Chapter 3 in Uses and Limitations of the AHP Method, 2021, pp 15-29 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract It is devoted to examine and analyse the concept of complex projects or scenarios and what this term involves. Since there are no clear definitions about the meaning and scope of this phrase, this chapter proposes ten scenarios, although necessarily briefly, where different features are present and incorporated in their modelling, and including real-world characteristics, such as different relationships between alternatives, and how these can be expressed by criteria, conditions imposed to alternatives, projects underway, no alternatives and so on, that is it gives an idea of what a complex scenario may be and, most especially, how to model it.
