Chapter 5 in Project Management in the 21st Century, 2021, pp 105-106 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Throughout this book, I have done my best to undermine your current understanding of project management theory and practice. I’ve shown you the holes in traditional project management theory and how they got there. I’ve explained why the current definition of project management is woefully inadequate. And I’ve done my best to show you that project management is about so much more than just ‘managing projects’—it’s also about the project eco-system and a value co-creation experience, both of which seem to be completely ignored in most project management literature and education.
