A chapter in Managing Industrial Services, 2021, pp 135-141 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Academia and industry practices have shed light on some domains of industrial service management more than on others. This book has expanded current understanding of two domains that were already in the spotlight: service strategy and service organization. Moreover, the book offers insight into the emerging domains of service innovation, service sales, service operations, and CRM. Each domain discussed offers avenues for further substantiation, as outlined in this chapter. This chapter concludes by synthesizing the research- and practice-based insights developed throughout the book and offers guidelines for professionalizing industrial service management.
