Abstract If we let the word “network of everything,” as the Internet of Things (IoT) is also called, roll off our tongue for a moment, it sounds a lot like science fiction and not like normality—to me, at least, but maybe it’s different for you. But the fact is that this “network of everything” is no longer fiction. It is reality.
