IoT Platforms
Andreas Holtschulte
Chapter 3 in Digital Supply Chain and Logistics with IoT, 2022, pp 73-94 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In the previous chapters, you learned about the history and technical basics of the Internet of Things (IoT). This is essential if you want to understand the IoT concept. But now we’ll move on to the practical side of things because after all, this is a practical guide and not a proseminar. This chapter provides answers to the following questions: How do you, as a company, build an IoT platform that meets the demands of the future? What solutions are there on the market? And which of them is more and which is less relevant for your specific objective and industry?
