Chapter 2 in Co-Creation Mindset, 2023, pp 17-34 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The co-creation mindset is explained coming from change management theory. It is made clear that there are very different views in change management: In one world people are involved in the change, in the other world they are changed from the outside. Co-creation seeks the involvement of those involved. When the participants enter the co-creation space for the first time and are confronted with the layout of the space, their attention is absorbed by the various stimuli, and they need some time to get used to the setting. Co-creation aims to let the shaping of the future happen through the people involved, to give them the confidence, the resources and the know-how to engage in co-creation. The more heterogeneous the group is and the more pronounced the individual aspects are, the greater the potential of the whole.
