Abstract: Abstract After the introduction of ‘Reform and Opening-Up Policy’, China has achieved an impressive economic growth and deep integration into the global supply chain. As the world’s factory, however, China has also paid a high ecological price to and has the largest total quantity of greenhouse gases. This chapter sheds lights on trends in sustainability management practice in China, including the adoption of the global ESG (environmental, social and governance) standards and the implementation of global sustainability reporting standards.
