Chapter 8 in The Researcher Entrepreneur, 2023, pp 39-42 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A start-up (or spin-off) enterprise is founded on specific preparatory steps that a researcher must take and prerequisites that must be fulfilled before they attempt the transition. The initial stages should be carried out while the researcher is still in his or her laboratory, while the latter deal with the setting up of the enterprise as such. By building strong foundations so that they are secure and long-lasting you will have a head start on your road to entrepreneurial success.
