Abstract: Abstract Ameris Bancorp is a financial holding company whose business is primarily conducted through the wholly owned banking subsidiary Ameris Bank. Ameris Bank offers a full range of banking services to its retail and commercial customers in select markets in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The bank operates 164 full-service domestic banking offices. By December 2022, the bank had approximately $25.05 billion in total assets, $20.25 billion in total loans, and $19.46 billion in total deposits. By December 2022, the bank had employed 2847 full-time equivalent employees.
