A chapter in Automotive Aftermarket, 2024, pp 81-88 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The American automotive aftermarket has a particular role in the global development of the automotive aftermarket business. The North American Free Trade Area Agreement (NAFTA) countries represent a major business market globally. Specifically, the United States is also seen as an innovative context with special characteristics, for example, in management, distribution, marketing, and business organization. This chapter offers an expert view with a long-term industry perspective that contributes to understanding this business as well as its potential and challenges. A direct voice from this setting is illuminating and informative in highlighting the American aftermarket and its particularities and dynamics.
