Abstract:
Abstract Culture is a complicated and complex concept. Arguably, the Western thought-leader in the study of organizational culture was Edgar Schein (1928–2023), Swiss-born American business theorist, psychologist, and professor at MIT. In The Corporate Culture Survival Guide (2009), Schein compares culture to personality in that it results from a learning and adaptation process based on coping with its variety of challenges.
