A chapter in Understanding Türkiye’s Real Estate Markets, 2026, pp 477-493 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Digitalisation, and the strategically broader concept of digital transformation, have been increasingly prevalent across various fields in recent years. One notable area where digitalisation has gained relevance is the real estate sector. In general terms, digitalisation pertains to the conversion and processing of data originally stored in analogue formats to a digital environment. Numerous datasets within the real estate domain have been converted to digital formats, and a variety of applications have emerged to facilitate the transfer of this data to digital platforms. This chapter examines the applications, policies, data, and technologies associated with digitalisation in the real estate sector in Türkiye.
