Abstract: Abstract The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model represents a progressive approach to planning and management. PPP serves as a feasible alternative for governmental funding, facilitating shared governance with the private sector. This model not only guarantees that the proposed sub-projects address public requirements but also enables private partners to derive profit from substantial projects. Presently, this model is integral to numerous training instruments for PPP frameworks, with the potential to use private sector objectives more efficiently within investment strategies. As global PPP projects advance, Türkiye has seen parallel growth, implementing such initiatives across diverse sectors. Collaborative projects between the public and private sectors are particularly prominent in energy, transportation, communication, and health, both globally and within Türkiye. This chapter explores the characteristics of the PPP model, its historical development, the motivations for its adoption by various countries, the types of models employed in Türkiye, relevant examples, and the legal framework that underpins it.
