Chapter 8 in Aviation Risk and Safety Management, 2014, pp 77-82 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The aviation business is one of the harshest business environments managers can think of. Tight profit margins, frequent business cycles, governmental regulation, safety requirements and the direct interdependency to the world economy are just a few factors which cause immense headaches for top management. Maneuvering a company through this environment requires the right management strategies and skills.
