Chapter 5 in Personal and Organizational Excellence through Servant Leadership, 2015, pp 71-78 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter discusses the Covenantal Relationship dimension of servant leadership. Servant leaders cultivate genuine, profound, and lasting relationships with their employees based on covenants rather than contracts. The four building blocks of this leader-follower relationship (acceptance, availability, equality, and collaboration) are delineated below followed by recommendations for practice.
