Abstract:
Abstract Although statistical variances and unpredicted events are part of operations routine, analyzing events commonalities and dependencies can reduce production deviations occurrences. FMEA is a tool for proactively identifying those failure commonalities and dependencies ahead of their occurrence, through listing the potential effect, rating them according to their severity and occurrence and developing preventive actions. The root causes for quality and technology failures reduces. In this chapter we cover FMEA approach to predict and prevent quality failures in future and thus achieve better control of technology and consequently financials performances.
