Chapter 8 in Performance Management Success, 2018, pp 77-88 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Individual team members, and teams, have a fundamental need for acceptance and appreciation and a sense of adding value to whatever organization they are affiliated with. Recognition and Reward (R&R) represents a means by which a manager, or an organization, can respond to – and validate – the presence and contribution(s) of team members and the teams that individuals belong to.
