Abstract:
Abstract A great benefit of participating in a quality award program is that, an organization can receive an independent assessment report that helps organization on their journey to plan new drive for excellence. While this is beneficial, organizations can still conduct an internal assessment to understand the performance maturity using an excellence model. This chapter will first discuss the broad concept of self-assessment, the benefits of undertaking this assessment. In addition, the chapter will also guide through steps involved in planning and taking a self-assessment in a diverse and multicultural organization.
