Chapter 7 in Achieving Organizational Excellence, 2018, pp 121-141 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter provides insights for preparing an application for Dubai Quality Award. Dubai Quality initiated in 1992 for business sector of UAE, it is global award today. UAE organizations particularly who are multinational organizations can also obtain a quality recognition for their entire operations. With 22 years of successful history, the business excellence department, the office which overseas this national award proudly acknowledges that their relationship with the organization is not just to award and recognize the organizations. Instead their aim is to work with the companies in their continuous improvement journey. Ms Seema specialist at award office, passionately says” When an interested party comes on the board, we gauge their intention and their commitment to the improvement approach and educate them. Indeed, engaging with us is not a one-time transaction”!
