Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we highlight benefits and value which can be realized from IBP transformation. We highlight tangible and soft benefits exposed in planning horizons/types. We explain in-depth tactical S&OP value exposed in each process step but enriched with IBP value drivers. We share example of typical process characteristics which can help you to realize value from specific planning type. We share real examples of benefits which could be realized in organizational/competency dimension of your IBP transformation. Finally we move toward “what’s in it for you” in moving toward SAP Cloud solution. We explain value which can be realized from SAP IBP pre-configured best practices. Last but not least, we expose that operating IBP in holistic way (connecting various dimensions) helps to operationalize change and significant overall benefits.
