Abstract:
Abstract The turbulence of recent years has not abated—the telecommunications sector is still confronted with elementary challenges. Almost all of the large companies are listed on stock exchanges and must regularly give an account of their actions to their shareholders. How does the capital market assess the current situation, and what are the prospects for the future? What strategies and actions are regarded to be effective in achieving the objectives? Andreas Mark, fund manager for Union Investment (Union Investment is the investment company of DZ Bank Group and a part of the cooperative FinanzGruppe. It is one of the largest assets managers in Europe), and Wolfgang Specht, analyst at Bankhaus Lampe (Bankhaus Lampe is one of the leading as well as one of the few independent private banks in Germany. Founded in 1852, the traditional institution is wholly owned by the Oetker family. Business activities concentrate on comprehensive customer support for well-to-do private customers, midsize companies, and institutional investors), answer these and other questions.
