A chapter in Future Telco, 2019, pp 389-393 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract BSH Hausgeräte GmbH is one of the world’s leading companies in its industry and the largest manufacturer of household appliances in Europe. Employing a workforce of more than 58,000 worldwide, BSH was able to realize sales of about €13.1 billion in 2016. BSH manufactures the full range of modern household appliances in about 40 factories around the world. Digitalization, the Internet of Things, M2M-based services, the ever tighter interconnection of humans and things will radically change society and business—that is the consensus of most experts. BSH Hausgeräte GmbH is also preparing to take advantage of the opportunities and meet the challenges that will result.
